My family and I were at church recently, and an acquaintance of mine asked my son with FA why he was using his wheelchair that day instead of his walker. She was concerned and meant well, but he felt like it was a personal question and didn’t want to answer.

My son is part of it at UF. He enjoys participating in research!

My son who has FA tried one. He liked the feeling of it but he moves around a lot in his sleep and he had a hard time pulling it up and keeping it in place.

My younger son went trick or treating in our neighborhood with some of our neighbors. He enjoyed getting to spend time with friends and getting lots of candy!

That is a great idea for an app! We make sure to carry a pillow to sit on and a blanket because my son is usually cold and I’m hot 😂
