Welcome to the Friedreich’s Ataxia News Forums!
This forum serves as a place where anyone impacted by Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) — whether patients, family members, caregivers, or medical workers — can share stories and life advice with one another.
Often, living with a rare disorder like FA feels lonely. Facing troubles that seem unique to you causes feelings of isolation. We seek to eliminate that by connecting people in the Friedreich’s Ataxia community to share their own stories, tips, successes, and troubles with one another in this forum by opening up a dialogue between those in the FA community!
We encourage honest and open sharing among members in this forum. In order to create a welcoming and comforting atmosphere, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- No posts that demean or ridicule anyone in or outside of the forum. BE KIND & RESPECTFUL TO OTHERS.
- No promotion of products for sale. Promotion of free online pages related to Friedreich’s Ataxia (i.e., blogs, Youtube channels, etc.) are permitted, as long as they are linked to with a description of WHY this may help others.
- Friedreich’s Ataxia News and its parent company BioNews are not medical resources. Any medical tips shared on this page should always be consulted with a doctor or medical professional before attempted.
