I have found those issues as well, sometimes. I try not get frustrated. I close my eyes, take a breath and be calm. When I’m worked up nothing runs smoothly. I realize I’m not going to set any records in The Guinness Book Of Records for speed typing, so I just take my time typing. I’ve also found typing on my iPad, with the touch screen keyboard, a little easier and less fatiguing. But that could just be me.

I as well have this problem. Not always, but sometimes I feel as if my tongue is getting in the way of me speaking. When this happens, I try think about what I’m going to say and choose my words carefully, so I don’t have complex sentences to speak with difficult words to pronounce.

Warm weather for sure. Even though I’m dressing in thicker clothing for Fall and Winter temperatures, there are times in the day when I go outside and feel the cool air tightening up my joints. I do aqua therapy in warm water. I’m not sure how I would do in cold water.

I find anything I do that being in a rush or hurry does not help keep my legs relaxed and manageable. I too set my alarm to go off early than normal. I don’t have any problems driving (with hand controls)but there too I also prefer not driving in rush.

Never stop believing in a cure! With all the advancements in medicine, there is bound to be a fix. Best to remain strongest as possible when the day comes along.

I’m with you on mopping and vacuuming. I have a garden service for mowing the lawn but they can’t be around all the time. So I find sweeping my patio before entertaining frustrating and tiresome, especially now with all the leaves falling. Window washing is the house cleaner’s job. Haha

That is a downside when falling happens. I hope you’re able to protect yourself when going down.

I prefer hardwood floors, or tiled floors. I find that most carpets do make good surfacing for wheelchairs, whereas harder flooring makes quicker moving. My house is hardwood and tile flooring.

At least three cups of coffee per day. The caffeine helps and the taste always brings good feelings.

Not choosing cookies or cake is always a difficult choice when it comes to snacking. For the past few years, I have made healthier decisions by snacking on baby carrots and popcorn and almonds.

I was only diagnosed a few months ago at the age of 40. I begun having issues around 15/16 years old and tried everything as my issues progressed not go full time using a Wheelchair. I went from using a walking stick to crutches to a 3-wheel walker, and then finally at around the age of 25 I transitioned to using a Wheelchair full time. It was difficult a choice at the time but it did make sense. It was safer for me living independently, going to university, grocery shopping…
