When it comes to any type of balance, the human body requires a strong core or a strong center of gravity. Although our leg muscles play a big part of balance, the most benefit comes when both are strong simultaneously.

Crunches in all variations can be done to help build up the core muscles. No matter your leg function or stage of progression, crunches can be adapted and completed. For us, it’s a matter of energy we are able to put forward.

One of my favorites is sticking my  feet under the couch, putting a slight bend in my knees and doin crunches like that. The couch holds me as if someone were there.

What are some of your preferred methods to crunch?
