Attending an FA event
Having FA can be extremely lonely at times. Especially when you don’t know anyone in the FA community. Personally, attending events has completely changed my life and acceptance of being sick.
I’m writing to you from the FA symposium here in Philadelphia. This is a trip I make almost every year and one of my favorite weekends all year too. It includes rideATAXIA Philly on Sunday and the symposium on Monday.
There is a level of comfort and acceptance that you won’t experience anywhere else but an FA event. It feels amazing to be in the presence of others who know EXACTLY what you are going through.
