Ableism : discrimination or prejudice against individuals with disabilities

This has been a topic of conversation for a long time and I was wondering how the FA community feels about it. Have you ever experienced being treated differently because of your disability? And I dont mean people staring or anything of that matter. I mean, have you been let go from a job? Or even denied to even apply? Denied access to a building? Anything like this?

I believe in it for sure, but I don’t think it’s always malicious. It’s just really inconvenient for disabled people to maneuver places, and bosses notice that. After I finished grad school, I went on a ton of interviews, but never got hired. I think it was due to things like the building’s accessibility.
