When it comes to getting out of bed or starting your day, it can be difficult to do just that. It’s much easier to stay in your pajamas all day than to go through the process of getting ready and going out in public. It’s a whole different process for those affected by FA and definitely takes longer. But, it’s important FA patients maintain a routine and stay as active as possible.
Create a routine
Certain people, pictures, videos, music, podcasts, quotes, etc., can become an essential part of your morning wake-up routine. Watching a speech about life’s lessons or entrepreneurship, looking at pictures of your dream vacation spot and envisioning how to get there one day, listening to the song that always makes you happy, staring at the same screenshots of your favorite motivational quotes from Instagram or Facebook, or even just enjoying time with your family in the morning can be game-changing. It can be the driving force that helps you to get out of bed.
Depending on your interests and likes, find a little extra encouragement every single day. Sometimes you need a little push to do a simple task, but always remember the battle you’re fighting. Dealing with FA is not easy and it’s important to remind yourself that you’re dealing with something that a lot of people probably couldn’t even imagine.
Find the things that inspire you. The world is a beautiful place and you can honestly find inspiration anywhere you go. Whether you’re on the Internet or actually meeting people in person, you will find things that can help you accomplish your daily tasks or short-term goals.
