      One aspect of working out that I absolutely love is being able to listen to my own soundtrack. I love a variety of music so some days I listen to screamo, some days it’s rap, some days it’s pop and some days it could be a throwback playlist from the 90s.

      I also find it to be a key element in a functional work out. For example, I’d like to have a set play list of different songs I enjoy hearing while working out. If not, I get stuck on my phone sorting through songs and finding what I want to hearInstead of focusing on the task at hand. For me, music is very important because I use it do you keep track of my reps.

      How about you? Is music a vital part of working out do you? What do you listen to the gym or when you are being active?
