Do you have siblings with FA?
For every sibling of someone with FA, there is a 1-in-4 chance that the sibling will also have FA.
My younger brother of 11 years was also diagnosed with FA. It is great in a way. We can relate to one another on a deeper level because we understand what we are going through, and he can ask me advice and questions relating to the disease since I have been living with it longer.
Do you have any siblings that also have FA? Is your bond to one another close?
