• Adapted hobbies

There’s no way around adapting everything we do-constantly. Hobbies we once enjoyed become more difficult overtime.

Personally, I was diagnosed later so I had to learn how to do things I still enjoy but differently. For example, cooking. I have had to relearn a lot about my body and new ways to do things so I’m not in pain or too exhausted afterward.

Or, bike riding. I’ve ended up getting a trike so that way I can still be able to ride my friends.

What about you? What are some hobbies you’ve made easier on you? Some adaptations you’ve had to make?

I’ve also had to adapt to activities I love. I now use a wheelchair when I go to an art museum, baseball or football game and concert. I also utilize the ADA seating arrangements as much as possible.
