Morgan Talevich: Sharing your side of the story

Morgan Talevich of Opelousas, Louisiana, was diagnosed with Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) 29 years ago when she was 6 years old. She shares what angle she thinks is most effective when trying to boost awareness on social media.

Transcript

The whole month of May [for Friedreich’s Ataxia Awareness Month], you boost awareness and explain your side of your story and what you’re going through, and how that can expand what we do on social media. There are not many mentions of FA, so you have to reach a broader audience.
