Last week, my son, Noah, and I traveled to the University of Florida where he participates in a few different clinical trials. While we were there, we realized that this coming July will mark four years since he first enrolled.

Clinical trial participation has been really important to Noah and our whole family. It has plugged us into the FA community in ways that we lacked before. To be around people who understand the disease and work each day for a cure is really a feeling that is hard to describe.

We also met our first FAmily at the clinical trial clinic. It was so encouraging to connect with someone else who was walking the same road.

Have you or your loved one ever participated in a clinical trial? Share your experiences with us.
