Slippery Feet
I wanted to ask about an issue I am having.I am a full-time wheelchair user and I do independent transfers many times throughout the day – to get on the toilet, in the shower, in bed, etc. What’s always been an issue for me is getting my bare feet to plant on the hardwood floor when I go to transfer- my feet slip!
Does anyone have any tips? Do you experience this? Is it common with FA? Let me know.

You can’t wear them in the shower, but they might help the other times.

I agree with the friction socks above. We also use a lot of non-slip matting around the house in areas where my father will typically transfer. This is what we use:
