Handle Bars – Vertical or Horizontal?
My sister and I both have FA and we both use wheelchairs to get around. Yet our preference for the ideal kind of handle bar when we transfer is different.
She prefers a vertical bar, while I prefer horizontal ones.
How about you?Which is your preference?

I prefer a mix of the two! Floor to ceiling vertical bar with a lockable T bar.

Personally I prefer the ‘L’ shaped rails in public toilets. But my real issue was that I prefer the railing to be on the right hand side. Something to do with how I balance I think.
