In recent forum posts, I have mentioned the sudden passing of my husband in June. This week, I began a new chapter as a preschool teacher.

Life is so full of changes. It can be hard to begin again when a door has been closed, especially when it was unexpected.

Living with someone with a progressive disease like FA is full of grieving losses and starting again. It definitely is painful but can create in us a versatility that we may not have thought we were capable of.

How do you deal with closing chapters and beginning new ones? Is change something you have learned to embrace or is it still a constant struggle?
