  Ataxian Athlete Initiative

  Applications for the 2022 Ataxian Athlete Initiative (AAI) are now available! This initiative was started in 2009 to help those living with ataxia have a chance to receive adaptive cycling equipment to help them stay active in spite of their disabilities.

  My son, Noah, was a grant recipient in 2020, and he has really enjoyed riding his recumbent trike! It has given him a way to get outside and enjoy exercising. He recently rode at rideATAXIA Gainesville.
