Anxiety with Grocery Stores
Does anyone else get anxiety going to the grocery store? Usually I am with my husband and he helps me put the rollator in the car and I use the shopping cart to help me walk around.
This time, I was by myself and took the bus (I live in a city). When I am alone is when I get anxiety to food shop. I was hoping the shopping basket at the store would fit on my rollator seat and I could walk hands free of it (this works at Target!). But, it didn’t fit and I had to maneuver holding it while trying to walk with my rollator.
Has anyone else run into this issue? What type of mobility aid do you use to go grocery shopping?
