Columnist Writes About the Fragility of Life
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing well.
Check out Sean’s latest column here. This is kind of a heavy piece, but an important one. Sean writes about the fragility of life, and how he lost someone in his life recently. He ties this in to the processing the reality of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This passage sticks out to me: “If there is one thing I believe the pain and death of others allow for most of us, it is the opportunity to take stock of our own lives and evaluate what needs our attention and what we can let go of. Even without losing people I admire, the simplicity of staying home (aside from work) has caused me to evaluate my own priorities.”
Do you have any takeaways from this column? Has this pandemic caused you to think and reflect about topics like this more?
