Columnist Writes About Remembering What Matters During the COVID-19 Crisis
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all staying safe out there.
Check out Sean’s latest column here. Sean writes about remembering the important and seemingly small things during this pandemic. Things like genuine conversations and relaxing hobbies are now at the forefront of our lives. The tired notion of “busyness” is on hold right now, and I believe that’s something to celebrate. We can finally set aside our hectic schedules, and instead focus on what’s important.
This passage especially sticks out to me: “Now, more than ever, we find ourselves actually connecting with the people we care about, more consistently and more deeply. Through the antique form of phone conversations or modern video chats, we’re sharing our lives and our experiences both with our neighbors down the street and across the country.”
Do you have any takeaways from this column? What’s something you’re focusing on during isolation?
