Explaining FA
The other day at work, a colleague asked me “so how did you get that balance thing”? I thought it could have been asked nicer, but I understand not everyone understands. Relationships with people who doesn’t know what Friedreich’s Ataxia is can be difficul.
How do you explain FA in a short way when you are not pleased with the question?

That definitely could be asked in a better way. I prefer to answer as short as possible if someone asked me the same question and in the same way.
I would have answered that FA is a genetic disorder which gradually takes off the balance and ability walk without giving the full details of the complications.
