What’s up, guys? Coach Damon here with my guy Braxton. We’ve got another awesome rare moves exercise for y’all. This one’s one of my favorite core exercises — called the bird dog.
We’re gonna get into our quadruped position here. A little bit of weight on the hands. We kind of want 90-degree hips, 90-degree knees.
From here, the first one — the first variation — just start with the extension. “So, opposite hand, opposite foot. Exactly.”
And you can see how my stabilization — Braxton shaking a little bit — that’s because his core is having to stabilize him while he’s got two of his tabletop limbs off the ground. “Back down and switch. Perfect.”
So we do stable core stabilization, number one. But it’s also a great way to get some glute extension and work the glutes as well. “A couple more back and forth. Perfect. Nice and slow. Slow and steady. Good.”
“So I’m actually kind of coming out of that leg. Go back.”
