Christina Cordaro, who lives in Pennsylvania, was diagnosed with Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) in 2011 at the age of 21. She shares how small habits and steady support help her navigate life with FA.

So with medicine, I set a reminder on my phone every day to take it at a certain time.
I also go to physical therapy once a week, so having the support from my family, people close to me, and my husband — just being there to physically take me — really helps.
Having the mindset of knowing how these things are going to help me moving forward and in the future is very important.
