Does anyone still drive? How is it for you when driving?

If you don’t drive, did you ever? When did you stop?

I still drive with my feet- don’t have any trouble YET. I also think the fact I’ve been driving for 10+ years helps me to maintain any driving skills.

I was always afraid to drive and ever since I was diagnosed at age 21, I am more afraid due to not moving my hands and feet quick enough.

I drove for 20 years after my diagnosis. I stopped because my reflexes got too slow. I still miss it after 6 years.

I drive sincère my 16 years ils. La st september 2019, at the age of 50, I stopped driving because my foot doesn’t go enough fast to break and sometimes having difficulty reaching the break. Than I have started a long process to be able driving with my hands (courses, practice exam, getting new driver license and last May, my car got the adaptation to be able driving only with my hands. I am quite proud to have persevered, it is really worth and I appreciate it, furthermore as a single mother.
