Do you experience vision or hearing loss with FA?
Two symptoms of FA that are often not discussed enough are visual impairment and hearing loss. They are the rare symptoms when it comes to living with the disease.
This can include abnormal eye movements or damage to the nerves connecting the eyes to the brain, or abnormal neurological processing of auditory signals.
Does anyone experience either of the two, and how do you manage it?

My wife and I both wear glasses and her vision seems to be no better or worse than mine.
But her hearing is affected and we’ve tried several different hearing aids and nothing seems to help .

Hi Clester! I am sorry the hearing aids are not helping. Does your wife’s neurologist reccomend anything else?
