Brittany Sommerfield

Brittany Sommerfield is a Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) patient from Manitoba, Canada. She is 31 years old and was diagnosed at age 13. Brittany is an ambassador for the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance and is proud to advocate for this disease. Her focus revolves around multiple odd jobs including bookkeeping, local conservancy positions, travel consultant tasks, and volunteering with ataxia organizations. She puts family and friends above all, and strives to maintain a positive outlook on life.
