Movie Suggestions
Last month, in honor of Rare Disease Day, the documentary, The Ataxian, was (and currently still is) free to watch on YouTube.
It is definitely a “must-watch” for the rare disease community and also really helpful to give a little glimpse in to those outside of the community.
If I’m honest, it was challenging for me to watch. Over the past several years since my son was diagnosed with FA, it is really hard for me to sit through sad movies and not get overly weepy.
Overall, the film is uplifting and very encouraging. Go watch now if you haven’t yet!
So, what are your favorite movies of late? I would especially enjoy some comedy recommendations!
