Hi! My names Savannah, im 19 years old and live in Utah! My balance and gait started going really downhill last spring and I was diagnosed with FA on Halloween 2018, so when I was 18. Worst “trick” ever!! Haha I just got my first walker and haven’t really used it because I’d much rather link arms with someone but I definitely can’t walk far at all without assistance. Maybe like the length of a hallway. I am in the process of getting my first wheelchair as well, for long distances like the airport or other things like that. I dont know a ton, as this is way new, but im really hoping to feel like part of the FAmily and learning lots! Especially about potential treatments and cures.
