Hi – I’m the Grandma of a FA patient. He was diagnosed a couple years ago, and his symptoms (in my opinion) has progressed rather fast. It rips my heart apart knowing I’m not able to do anything to make this disease disappear from him, and in all affected by it.  The best thing I can do is to be there 100 % for him and my daughter, who is his primary guardian and caregiver since she is a single parent.
