What lifestyle changes have you had to make due to living with FA?
Living with FA affects many aspects of our lives in different ways. While these factors are frustrating and at times upsetting, they are, unfortunately, realities that many living with FA have to deal with.
With this in mind, are there certain lifestyle changes that have impacted you the most? What lifestyle changes have you found the most difficult to adapt to? What tips could you give to someone newly diagnosed with FA to make these transitions easier?
For example, my husband and I moved almost 3 years ago to an accessible home that already had the ADA features that I needed for both the present and future- this accessible one-story ranch has a ramp inside the home, an ADA walk-in shower, and wide doorways. Everything was move-in ready, and this made it seamless and comfortable for me from the start.
