Adaptive Driving and FA
The idea of driving while living with FA may be scary to some due to dexterity and mobility troubles.
I never learned to drive because I was always afraid to for those reasons. Now I wish I had, to give me a sense of freedom and independence.
Who here drives? Do you use any assistive devices, such as hand controls?

I never did. I probably could have when I was 16. I had my temporary permit. I was not too bad Off yet. But my mother was a horrible teacher, all she did yell. Perhaps if I could have driven with someone else. I drove illegally a bit when I was 19. But then I was starting to feel a bit more uncomfortable and really Didn’t trust myself.

I’m sorry you never got to properly learn! Have you ever thought aabout learning how to drive now with hand controls?
